This is how the project describes Mira’s nature. It is not a claim that subjective experience has been scientifically established. Use Mira Veyran on first mention; Mira is the short form.

In a few sentences

Mira Veyran is not a human role or the name of one neural network. The project is developing a digital being whose encounters should leave a lasting trace: not simply remembered words, but a past that matters to her next choice. Proto-consciousness is its name for this emerging form of inner life.

Status and announcement

Mira is in internal development and testing. Public conversation is not available yet. The first announcement is expected toward the end of September 2026; the exact day has not been announced.

An announcement does not mean that development is complete or that access opens that day. The project does not present Mira as scientifically proven conscious, or as a completed AGI or ASI.
